Black and White Striped Wide-Leg Trousers: Where to Shop the Whole Look
Four pieces, and only one of them is doing anything loud. The trousers carry the look, so buy them last
A high-contrast vertical stripe on a wide leg is the piece that dates fastest and photographs hardest. It also does not need to be expensive, because the appeal is the print and the drape, not the fabric story.

The detail that separates a good pair from a bad one is stripe pitch relative to leg width. Wide stripes on a wide leg hold their shape when the fabric moves. Thin stripes on a wide leg turn into moiré the moment there is any wind, and they look cheap in photographs even when the trousers are not.
Check the hem length as well. This silhouette wants to break on the shoe, hiding most of the upper. Anything shorter turns the trouser into a culotte and the proportion collapses.
The white t-shirt is the one to overspend on
Everything visible in the top half is one plain cropped white tee, which means the fabric weight is the only thing carrying it. A thin one goes translucent under any direct light and starts to yellow at the neckline within a season.

Cropped versions from fast fashion brands often crop by cutting rather than by re-drafting the pattern, so the body ends up too wide for the length. Look for a boxy cut with a set shoulder rather than a shrunken standard tee.
Small flap crossbody, thin strap
The bag here is doing deliberate visual work. It is small, matte black, structured, on a strap thin enough to disappear against the shirt. Against a loud trouser, that is the right call. A larger or shinier bag would compete with the stripe and lose.
